Prescription Treatments

Some treatments can only be discussed with you in person. Here is why.

Why some treatments aren’t listed

A number of the treatments people ask me about are classified as prescription-only medicines. UK law does not permit any clinic — including this one — to advertise, describe, picture or price a prescription-only medicine to the public.

That rule applies to every clinic equally. Where you see these treatments listed with prices elsewhere, that listing does not meet the standard the advertising regulator has set.

It is not a restriction on what can be offered. It is a restriction on what can be advertised. If you have a specific treatment in mind, you are very welcome to ask me about it directly during a consultation, where I can talk you through suitability, process, aftercare and cost properly.

What a consultation covers

A consultation is the right place for this conversation anyway. It is where I can take a full medical history, understand what you are actually trying to achieve, and tell you honestly whether a treatment is right for you — including when the answer is that it is not.

Consultations are free, carry no obligation, and can be held virtually before you commit to anything.

As a registered pharmacist, I would rather lose an enquiry than cut a corner on this.

The consultation is the right place

Tell me what you are hoping to change. I will tell you what is possible, what it involves, and what it costs — properly, and in person.
